A RUSH OF STRINGS TO THE HEAD is a complete retake of the classic Coldplay album A Rush of Blood To The Head, reimagined for piano and string quartet. SIIMON originally did 2 covers of Coldplay songs in the summer of 2021 for YouTube and the response was so great he decided to record a remake of the classic Coldplay album to release in the year of its 20th anniversary 2022. The album features SIIMON on vocals and piano, alongside string quartet SOLAS STRINGS. The string arrangements were done by  Philip Michael Jack(www.pmjmusic.com) and SIIMON

The album was recorded live at Ash Church in Kent in November 2021 with post production done by Paddy Byrne.

Live sound engineer was Tim Smith from Seaview Studios, Folkestone.
